In less than one month, Binh Duong New City, Vietnam will host the third edition of the Horasis Asia Meeting.  Taking place from November 25th to 26th, the event will gather more than 400 of the region’s political and economic leaders, providing a forum for discussion on some of the most pressing global issues. Among other key topics set to be discussed is China’s Belt and Road Initiative, an infrastructure investment in part aimed at strengthening economic ties between China and Central and Eastern Europe.

Previous events have been held in Cascais, Portugal and Malagá, Spain.  The theme of this particular conference centres on the topic of ‘Inspiring Our Future’.  Many of the region’s leading politicians, academics and business people will participate in expert panels.

Discussion at the Horasis Asia Meeting will centre around the fundamental drivers of economies in the Asian marketplace and the importance of free markets for Asian countries and corporations based in the region.  A consideration of how Asian businesses interact on a regional basis as well as globally will form another aspect to the discussion.

Over the course of the two-day event, talks and discussions are set to be held on topics such as sustainable development, regional integration, tourism, Asian family businesses, closing the gender gap, Asia’s digital economy, climate change, youth employment, impact investment, inclusive growth and many more.

Established in 2016, the annual Horasis Asia Meeting is one of the world’s preeminent discussion forums.  It offers the ideal platform to explore and foster cooperation and investment. Horasis provides a stage upon which participants can work to form a compelling vision for the region’s inhabitants in this digital age.

The 2018 Horasis Asia Meeting is co-hosted by the Binh Duong Province, Becamex IDC Corp, and VSIP Group. The event will be held at the Binh Duong Convention Center.
