Source Meridian has joined Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network as a Select partner in the Services Track, adding the healthcare-focused technology company to a growing ecosystem of firms helping organizations deploy Claude in production.
The recognition means Source Meridian has been approved within Anthropic’s partner program to deliver Claude-related services to customers. For the company, the move expands its artificial intelligence practice while building on its existing work with healthcare and life sciences organizations.
Anthropic launched the Claude Partner Network in March 2026 with a $100 million investment in partner training, technical support and joint marketing. The company created the program as enterprises moved beyond experimentation with AI and began looking for partners capable of integrating and deploying the technology in production environments.
The Services Track, introduced in June, has three levels: Select, Preferred and Global Premier. Select is the entry tier for firms that have established a Claude practice. To qualify, companies must have at least 10 active certified individuals, two joint customers deployed in production during the previous 12 months and at least one public customer story.
Anthropic says more than 40,000 firms had applied to join the broader Claude Partner Network by June, while more than 10,000 consultants had earned Claude certifications.
Why healthcare is an important market for Claude
Source Meridian’s positioning makes the partnership particularly relevant to healthcare, where AI deployments involve sensitive patient information and regulatory requirements.
The company describes itself as a technology provider focused on healthcare, life sciences and other regulated industries. Its current AI practice includes clinical natural-language processing, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, analytics and large-language-model operations. It says its production AI architecture is designed for environments involving protected health information and operates within HIPAA, SOC 2 and HITRUST requirements.
The timing also comes as Anthropic expands its own healthcare offering. In January 2026, the company announced Claude for Healthcare, a set of tools and resources designed for healthcare providers, payers and health technology companies. Anthropic said the offering would allow organizations to use Claude for medical purposes through HIPAA-ready products.
Anthropic currently offers HIPAA-ready configurations for eligible Enterprise customers that want to process protected health information through Claude. The company says these configurations include a Business Associate Agreement and safeguards intended to support HIPAA requirements.
That distinction is important for healthcare deployments. Using a general-purpose AI product does not automatically make a workflow compliant for handling protected health information. Anthropic says organizations using PHI must use eligible HIPAA-ready services and meet the applicable configuration and contractual requirements.
From AI experimentation to production
For Source Meridian, the partnership builds on an AI practice that is already focused on production systems rather than standalone generative AI tools.
The company says its engineering teams work with clinical records, claims, medical literature and other regulated datasets. Its AI infrastructure includes data ingestion, vector search, RAG systems, foundation models, evaluation frameworks and monitoring tools designed to operate within customers’ environments.
One example is its work with Veritas Data Research, a healthcare data company that provides mortality and provider information datasets. Source Meridian says the two companies are developing a Claude-based engineering workflow and a shared context layer that allows different departments to access organizational knowledge through Claude.
The use case illustrates the broader shift occurring in enterprise AI. Companies are increasingly looking beyond chatbots and individual productivity tools toward systems that connect models with proprietary data, internal applications and business processes.
Anthropic has made that shift central to its partner strategy. When it introduced the Services Track, the company argued that successful AI pilots are different from systems that businesses can operate at scale, highlighting integration, evaluation and changes to how employees work as key areas where partners can contribute.
For Source Meridian, the Select designation therefore comes as it expands an existing healthcare engineering business into a market where the ability to deploy AI securely can be as important as the model itself.
The company, which was founded in Medellín and operates with teams across the Americas, says it works with healthcare analytics, life sciences, clinical trials, remote patient monitoring, care management and other regulated applications.
As Anthropic continues expanding Claude’s presence among enterprises, partnerships such as this one could become increasingly important. Rather than selling AI models directly to every organization, Anthropic is building an ecosystem of technology and consulting firms capable of adapting Claude to specific industries and deploying it within existing business environments.
For healthcare companies, where data sensitivity, interoperability and regulatory compliance can complicate AI adoption, that layer of implementation may determine whether experiments with generative AI remain pilots or become part of day-to-day operations.
